Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning in Israel

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that involves removing the topmost layer of your skin to trigger the healing response from your body. New, young skin cells are produced, giving your skin a smoother texture, firmer appearance, and more radiant complexion.

Dermaplaning Benefits:

  • Safe for all skin types

  • Simultaneously removes “peach fuzz” from the face

  • Improves the effectiveness of professional skin cleansers

  • Prevents oil, dirt, and impurities from remaining trapped in the pores

  • Triggers your body to produce younger, healthier skin.

What Can I Expect from Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is performed by hand. After cleaning your skin, we use a surgical scalpel to remove an ultra-thin layer of skin gently. The aesthetician may then spend some time removing individual blemishes. Kayla Daniel may recommend that you have a chemical peel in conjunction with your dermaplaning treatment.

What Will Dermaplaning Do for My Skin?

Dermaplaning is an excellent option for treating:

  • Acne

  • Acne scars

  • Fine lines

  • Uneven pigmentation

  • Dull skin

  • Skin that is prone to being oily and/or developing blemishes.

Will Everyone Benefit from Dermaplaning?

Only in very rare cases is dermaplaning not considered an effective skincare treatment. Certain medical conditions do place you at risk for developing complications. Kayla Daniel will recommend an alternative treatment at our medical spa if you fall into this category.

Important Tips After a Dermaplaning Treatment

To maximize your results and maintain healthy, glowing skin, follow these recommendations:

✔ Sun Protection – After removing the top layer of dead skin cells, your skin becomes more sensitive to UV rays. Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen daily.
✔ Avoid Irritating Ingredients – Refrain from using strong acids (such as Retinol, AHA, BHA) or undergoing aggressive treatments for 24-48 hours.
✔ Hydration is Key – Keep your skin nourished with a rich, alcohol-free moisturizer.
✔ Avoid Heavy Makeup – If possible, let your skin breathe for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
✔ Keep Your Skin Clean – Gently cleanse your face with a mild cleanser to prevent dirt buildup.
